The BBVA Foundation has named Harvard Professor Elhanan Helpman as recipient of the Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Economics, Finance, and Management.
Professor Helpman was chosen for the award based on his work and expertise in the fields of international trade and output growth.
Elhanan Helpman is the Galen L. Stone Professor of International Trade at Harvard University. His contributions include studies of the balance of payments, exchange rate regimes, stabilization programs and foreign debt. Most important, however, are his studies of international trade, economic growth and political economy.
