Noémie Sportiche

Noémie Sportiche is an Associate in the Department of Economics at Harvard University, working with Professor David Cutler to assess the impacts of moving to housing permitted under an innovative state housing policy policy, Massachusetts Chapter 40B, on health outcomes. This work is inspired by the four years she spent as an urban planner for the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She is a health policy researcher at Mathematica with a background in social epidemiology and urban planning. Her research aims to understand how social policies can improve health, equity, and social mobility.

Noémie received her Ph.D. in the methods track of the Health Policy Ph.D. program (2023), a M.S. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, and a B.A. in Cognitive Science from UCLA.
