Ashley Nunes is an Associate and Researcher in the Department of Economics at Harvard University, for the 2023-24 academic year. His work examines how innovation affects markets, with a focus on the economic effectiveness of decarbonization policies. He is working with colleagues, 1) to understand the labor market impact of the Inflation Reduction Act and, 2) to assess the efficacy of government subsidies as a means of accelerating decarbonization in the transportation sector. He holds academic appointments at Harvard Law School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earned his PhD. from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (USA).
