Aug 16: Ec Advising Office Hours begin. Virtual walk-in advising via Zoom. Please check advising page for hours of availability.
Aug 16: Econ 970 (Sophomore Tutorial) lottery opens. Course descriptions, syllabi, and information about selecting your Sophomore Tutorial section is available on the Econ 970 website.
Aug 18: Required meeting for thesis writers. Time: 1-2pm ET, on Zoom. Information about registering for an Econ 985 seminar will be discussed. See the Senior Thesis website for more information.
Aug 23: Econ 970 Office Hours with course head, Anne Le Brun. 9-11 AM ET, on Zoom. Information can be found on the Econ 970 website.
Aug 24: Econ 970 tutorial preferences due by 9am ET. You will be notified of your tutorial placement by Aug 25.
Aug 24: Econ 985 seminar preferences due by 9am ET. You will be notified of your seminar placement by Aug 25.
Aug 26: Course Registration Deadline. Last day to have your advisor hold lifted by an Ec Advisor.
Aug 27: Add/Drop Period Begins.
Sep 1: Econ 970 tutorials begin.
Sep 1: Econ 985 seminars begin. You should attend your Econ 985 seminar even if you do not yet have a thesis advisor.
Sep 20: Last day to add/drop courses (without a fee).
Oct 4: Last day to add/drop courses or change your grading option (with a fee).
Oct 4: Thesis registration forms due by 5pm to Kate St. Cyr, firstname.lastname@example.org. If you do not have a thesis advisor by this date, you must drop Econ 985 and the thesis.
Nov 15: Last date to withdraw from courses. Last day for March 2022 degree candidates to file for a secondary field.
Nov 18: Economics Concentration Declarations Due. To declare Economics, please see the declaration instructions here (note there are three steps to declaring!).
Dec 2: Last day of classes.
Dec 17: Last day of Ec Advising Office Hours.
