I am the Frederic E. Abbe Professor of Economics at Harvard University.  I work on development economics, with a focus on financial markets, labor markets, and social networks. I am a board member and finance co-chair of JPAL and an affiliate of NBER, IGC, BREAD, CEPR and Y-RISE.
