Le Cercle des économistes in France announced on May 27 that Harvard Economics Professor Emmanuel Farhi had been named as recipient of 'The Best Young Economist' award for 2013.
Professor Farhi was chosen for the award from a group of thirty-three candidates among the best research centers in economics in France and abroad. The recipient of the award was chosen by a jury chaired by Jean-Michel Charpin.
Professor Farhi's research focuses on the analysis of fiscal and monetary policy.
