Ester Faia is a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Economics at Harvard University for the 2023-24 academic year. She holds a Chair in Monetary and Fiscal Policy at Goethe University Frankfurt. She is a fellow of CEPR and is in the board of editors of the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics. She has published extensively in top refereed journals in the area of macro-labour and monetary and has received numerous grants from the European Union and other scientific foundations. Her current research interests are on macro models with heterogenous agents and empirical research using micro data and/or information experiments.
