Here are this year's phenomenal panelists:
Lister Chapeta '08 is a Program Specialist at UN Women, focusing on gender equality and women's empowerment. Lister serves as the liaison between the country and regional offices and headquarters and has worked in Kenya, South Sudan, Mali, Nigeria and Senegal. She previously worked as a Program Analyst at the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) in Kenya working on female genital mutilation, gender-based violence and civil registration. After graduating from Harvard, Lister received an MA in international studies at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. While an undergraduate, Lister lived in Cabot House and was a member of the Harvard African Students Association.
Vishal Arora '14 is a medical student at Harvard Medical School and an incoming internal medicine resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital. After graduating from Harvard, Vishal completed a Fulbright Scholarship at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he studied quality and access to care for marginalized patient populations in Europe. During medical school, Vishal served as a health policy adviser for a Michigan gubernatorial candidate and spent time on MassHealth's Strategy Team, advising on care and payment models for long-term care services. He is interested in blending a career of clinical medicine with health care policy and management.
Viroopa Volla '14 is a JD/MBA student at Harvard, focusing on the intersection of law, economics, and business. She previously previously worked at McKinsey & Company, focusing on supply chain management and operations, primarily in agricultural. She also worked for Walmart as a buyer in global produce sourcing. Most recently, Viroopa served as Assistant Director and Assistant Producer of Bigg Boss 2--Telugu, a popular Indian reality TV show. During her years at Harvard, Viroopa earned a secondary field in Global Health and Health Policy and served on the boards of Smart Woman Securities, the Harvard US-India Initiative, and the Harvard College Wine Society.
Patrick Kelley '15 is a Business Analyst for the Boston Red Sox. In that role, Patrick supports the business side of the organization with data analytics, including pricing, projections, lead scoring, and more. Prior to joining the Red Sox, Patrick worked in economic litigation consulting at a boutique firm in Boston, creating expert reports for intellectual property and antitrust trials. While at Harvard, Patrick was President of the Harvard Classics club basketball team and lived in Dunster House, where he revived and managed the Dunster Grille.
