Jennifer Wu '14 is this year's recipient of the John H. Williams Prize for the honors senior graduating with the best overall record in the Economics Department. Her favorite Economics course is Professor Foote's 1010b, Intermediate Macroeconomics. She's been in this class all four years of her undergraduate studies – as a student during her freshman spring, and as a Teaching Fellow for the next three years. She explains: "I've learned to appreciate how truly magical the theories are in these four years, thanks to the questions that my students have bombarded me with, which have led me to ponder more deeply into the economic models and how they apply to real life." She'll be working in the internal strategy group at AIG in New York after graduation. A few other things about Jennifer – she's a big foodie, loves traveling, and is a devout fan of musicals and art museums!
