On Saturday, October 15, undergraduates, graduates, and members of the Department joined returning Econ alumni for a reception which included a discussion with Professor Dale W. Jorgenson AM '57, PhD '59, Samuel W. Morris University Professor.
Professor Jorgenson spoke about his new book, The World Economy: Growth or Stagnation?, which examines the rapid growth of Asian economies (especially China and India), the slower growth of the U.S., Japan, and leading European economies, and what this means for the growth of the world economy.
