Information About Booking Littauer Center Classrooms

Littauer (North Yard) Room Capacities:

Littauer M-15: 25-40 people
Littauer M-16: 30-45 people
Littauer M-17: 15-20 people
Littauer 219: 12-20 people.
Littauer M34/36: 5-10

Any sections or classes scheduled in 219 may be bumped on an individual basis in order to accommodate departmental events such as dissertation defenses or oral exams. Notice will be given and we will attempt to find an alternative space to hold the section.

Littauer is open 8am - 8pm. The M-level rooms are locked at 10pm during the week. If you wish to book a room in Littauer on the weekend, or when the building is not normally open, please do so, but your request will need to be approved by the the department administrator. Please keep this information in mind when requesting a room.

The priority for room use is as follows: classes have the highest priority, followed by departmental events, and sections. Priority is always given to classes and events that involve the Economics department. Please be aware that sections will not be scheduled until after Study Card Day each semseter.

Classes and sections are booked through the last scheduled day of classes each term. All room reservations are canceled during reading period and exams. Please send an e-mail if you wish to make a booking during reading period or exams.

If you are interested in reserving Littauer M-15, M-16, M-17, M-34/36 or 219, please check availability above, then send an email to Economics Classroom Scheduler. All room bookings are handled by email.

For booking meeting space outside Littauer, note the following:

• Yard classrooms (until 5:30pm) are booked through the Classrooms Office at the Registrar's Office; email classrms@fas.harvard.edu.
  
• Yard classrooms (after 5:30pm) are booked through the Division of Continuing Education; email Karen Ogden.
  
• Science Center classrooms are booked through the Science Center Scheduling Office, or email sc_sched@fas.harvard.edu.
